Chief Technology Officer

Our client is a disruptive Fintech scale-up active in the Dutch market. For this, we need an amazing team to make an impact by expanding the next generation Cloud platform, APIs and infrastructure that enable SMEs to run their business easy, quick and secure. We are looking for an ambitious technical hands-on leader who gets really excited about the latest technology, scaling teams and architecture.

The job

As a technical leader of the development team, you will ensure that the technical strategy, architecture and platform support our business goals. You will guide a team of 15 enthusiastic techies and make them flourish by coaching developers, providing the best tools and techniques, working with the Product Owners to find the smartest solutions and developing our processes and policies.

As a CTO you will work with:

• Cutting edge technologies and AWS architecture;
• 3 scrum teams (and one remote team);
• A Node.JS based microservice application;
• Complex financial services PSD2 platform, with its security, compliance and privacy requirements.

Who are you?

• You have +10 years of experience in leading a development team and vendors;
• You have experience in scaling fast growing companies;
• You have knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js and React (a plus);
• You like to work in a flat organization;
• You have a ‘getting things done’ mindset: you don’t like politics and irrelevant meetings.
